When we decided to move to the Cleveland area last fall, our relocation company connected us with Kristin Hartman at Berkshire Hathaway in Chagrin Falls. From the beginning, Kristin actively demonstrated many professional qualities and skills that helped guide us in the process of selecting our future home. One of Kristin’s most significant attributes was her flexibility with everyone’s schedules, as we were limited on time to travel to Cleveland to view homes. She was able to facetime us for several homes during the "weeding out" process, to prevent us from making a possibly unnecessary trip. Kristin was always selfless with her time and made us feel as if we were her primary concern and number one client. She was generous with her personal and vacation time, openly encouraging us to reach out with any questions, issues, or concerns. When she had to go out of town, she arranged for another realtor to show us new homes on the market, so we did not miss out on any opportunities. Another strength of Kristin was her ability to actively listen. Kristin listened to our list of priorities during our home search and was able to quickly hone in on our personal styles and preferences. Even if we asked to look at a house that did not quite meet our aforementioned criteria, she always demonstrated an open mind and willingness to take the time to show us that house (even if she knew before we did that the home would not work for us!). We were very appreciative of Kristin's style of showing homes. She quietly gave us time to walk in to a new home, observe, and then form our own opinions. If we were seeing multiple houses in one day, Kristin scheduled these showings to allow for efficient travel but while still taking us through areas of importance in a community in order to give us the “lay of the land” (i.e. town centers, schools, major roads/freeways for ease of commuting, etc). Ultimately, we are so grateful for Kristin and the limitless patience and empathy she demonstrated on a consistent and unwavering basis, while we experienced life changes, stress, and the wide spectrum of emotions that come with such a momentous transition in our lives. Kristin Hartman is an invaluable asset to Berkshire Hathaway.
